We depart for a photo stop at Panathinaiko Stadium where the first Olympic Games took place in 1896. It is the only stadium built out of white marble. Proceed, passing by Zappeion and the Temple of Olympian Zeus. You will then pass the Athens Trilogy which includes the University of Athens, the Academy of Athens, and the National Library. Continue passing by the National Garden, Hadrian’s Arc, St. Paul’s Church, Parliament, Tomb of the Unknown Soldier, Schliemann’s House (Numismatic Museum), Catholic Cathedral, Old Parliament, Constitution Square, Russian Orthodox Church, and finally ACROPOLIS (visit Propylae the gateway, Temple of Athena Nike, Parthenon, Erechtheion with its Porch of Maidens). Stroll up to the UNESCO-listed site that served as the ancient citadel and tour the buildings as you hear how they reflected Athens’ prosperity in the 5th century BC. Then we will visit the New Acropolis Museum which is only 300m. away from the sacred rock of Acropolis and where at last 4000 priceless statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era. In the afternoon transfer to the Athens airport to take the flight to Rhodes. Arrive at Diagoras airport, Rhodes and transfer to your hotel. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Rhodes. Journey through the ages seeing medieval times, battles and the history of the Island with impressive 9D visual and sound effects wearing your 3D glasses in 30 minutes of endless action. Our tour ends with the submarine cruise. It lasts 45 minutes and in the beginning, the passengers can sit on the top deck, to fully enjoy the boat tour and admire the Walls of the Medieval City. The captain also, shortly informs them about the history and the development of the area. Later on, the passengers can walk down to the underwater cabin, and this is the time when the diving show begins. Enjoy hundreds of fish and jellyfish up close through your window! The Venetian Island is rightly considered one of the most beautiful of the Dodecanese with its unique architecture. Free time in Simi to observe the traditional houses built next to each other on the steep hillsides. Walking through the alleys and visiting the sponge shops is something that should not be missing from your experience. Time for lunch and coffee. Back to the boat and next stop is the port of Panormitis with the Holy Monastery of Taxiarchis of Panormitis with its wonderful frescoes, the library, the folklore museum inside and an impressive wood-carved iconostasis. Famous for its miracles, Panormitis is a major pilgrimage site. The monastery has existed since the 15th century and the icon of the Archangel Michael (the patron saint) is considered miraculous. The facade is dominated by the baroque bell tower, which is one of the highest in the world. Return to Rhodes. Dinner at the hotel. Overnight in Rhodes. (Breakfast, Dinner)

After breakfast, you will embark on a journey to the Turkish seafront resort of Marmaris with a full-day ferry excursion from Rhodes. The city of Marmaris is one of the most charming towns on the south shores of Turkey. The beauty of nature, the medieval charm of the old city, the modern architecture, the rich, tasty cuisine, the colorful, vivid market with delightful aromas and the bargain invitations by the shopkeepers will make you part of the Eastern spirit in the city of Marmaris. Marmaris, a major Turkish port and resort which has developed round a large, sheltered harbor, is divided into distinct areas: the Bazaar, the local shopping streets, the hotel/beach resort, the Old Town, and the Marina. While shoppers will head for the Bazaar, famous for good quality copies of designer goods and brand names, Marmaris offers many other attractions: the fabulous Marina, picturesque Old Town area with a small Crusader Castle, harbor packed with wooden gulets, beach promenade, mosques, Turkish bathhouses (Hammas), interesting local shops and supermarkets.
